JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH THROUGH GOD'S AMAZING GRACE:

FIRST CENTURY GOSPEL CHURCH teaches that by GOD'S GRACE, if we GENUINELY REPENT of our sins, through FAITH, BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST as our LORD, OBEY and SURRENDER our LIFE to HIM as our SAVIOR, and are BORN AGAIN of the HOLY SPIRIT, our BLESSED LORD JESUS CHRIST gives us FULL JUSTIFICATION by FAITH in HIM AND ETERNAL SALVATION! AMEN

LOVING JESUS CHRIST:

OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S COMMANDMENTS AS FREE MORAL AGENTS:

“Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers. And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you. In obedience to our LORD Jesus Christ, members of the First Century Gospel Church jointly declare, by Grace’s God, to comply with the following principles based upon these Scriptures: Deuteronomy 11:13-15; Colossians 3:12-17; 1 Peter 4:8-10:

1. Believe in, adhere to, trust in and rely on God through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ by faith spiritually, financially and materially, Acts 16:31; Matthew 5:38-48; Matthew 6:11; 6:25-34; John 14:21; Galatians 5:19‑25; Malachi 3:10; Psalm 41:2-5; 2 Chronicles 16:12-13; Psalm 103:3; Isaiah 53:4-6; Ephesians 6:10-18

2. Die to self in every aspect of our Christian life in accordance to God’s Word, Romans 6:11; 12:1; Matthew 16:24-27; John 12:25-26

3. Love one another, pray for one another; our churches, pastors, leaders, the government and all those in authority. Love our neighbors and be helpful to everyone, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13; Luke 10:25-37; John 15:9-14; Galatians 5:14

4. Share the Gospel by evangelizing the world, and when the Holy Spirit presents an opportunity to those we come in contact with by proclaiming the Love of God and the need for repentance, baptism and Salvation through the Redemptive Work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Preach the truth of the Gospel of Grace and Justification by Faith, Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:4-10

5. Walk and live habitually in the Holy Spirit to avoid the sins of the flesh: adultery, fornication, hatred, backbiting, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, dissensions, envy, murder, drunkenness, etc., Ephesians 5:2; 4-25;32; Galatians 5:16-21; Romans 1:29-31; Revelation 21:8; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

6. Bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, peace, longsuffering, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, forgiving one another, etc., Galatians 5:22‑26; Matthew 18:21-35; Mark 11:25-26; Romans 12:19-21; Philippians 4:6-7; Proverbs 10:12

7. Encourage one another to worship and fellowship by regular attendance at church services, church activities, Sunday schools, and Bible studies, Hebrews 10:23-25; Acts 17:10-12; Joshua 1:1-9

8. Watch and pray expectantly for the Secret Rapture and Second Return of our Savior Jesus Christ, Matthew 25:13; 24:36-44; Luke 21:7-28; Revelation 3:14-21

Our LORD’s return is imminent and true believers should re-examine their lives everyday, and be prepared to meet Him, Deuteronomy 6:5-9; 7:12-15; 1 Timothy 4:6; Revelation 22:20b - Amen. Even so, come LORD Jesus!
