JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH THROUGH GOD'S AMAZING GRACE:

FIRST CENTURY GOSPEL CHURCH teaches that by GOD'S GRACE, if we GENUINELY REPENT of our sins, through FAITH, BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST as our LORD, OBEY and SURRENDER our LIFE to HIM as our SAVIOR, and are BORN AGAIN of the HOLY SPIRIT, our BLESSED LORD JESUS CHRIST gives us FULL JUSTIFICATION by FAITH in HIM AND ETERNAL SALVATION! AMEN

LOVING JESUS CHRIST:

If you [really] love Me, [the Lord Jesus Christ] you will keep (obey) My commands. Amen

(John 14:15, Amplified Bible)

OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S COMMANDMENTS  AS FREE MORAL AGENTS:

“Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and  do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers. And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you. You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock." Amen
(Deuteronomy 7:12-14, NKJV Bible)

Blessed Are The Merciful ...

ARE YOU TOO RELIGIOUS?

Are you selfishly too religious that you do not pray for the salvation of others ? Beware!
Are you living a righteous life?  Thank God and ask for the Holy Spirit to continue to empower you!

Are you so strict in your religion that you consider those who do not attend your church irreligious and "unbelievers"? Check out
Luke 10
Are you sure of your salvation that you do not talk to your neighbor because he smokes and might contaminate you? Check out
Luke 10
Are you so righteous that you do not mingle with the community because they are all unGodly?
See Luke 10
Are you so religious that you do not hold conversations with other people because you consider them sinners?
See Luke 10
Are you so perfect that you don't want to shake the hands of "unbelievers" because they don't attend your service?
See Luke 10
Are you so strict about your religion that you don't partake of the communion table, attend church meetings, pastors and elders meetings, because you have a difference of opinion about a member, your pastor or leader?

Remember what the Lord commanded

7Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous--with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy! - Matthew 5:7:

We may be religious, which is not a bad principle, but if our relationship to God is not tempered with God's Love, God's Mercy, God's Forgiveness and Godliness, that religion is useless, and it would not bring us closer to God or Heaven.

No one is saying that we should go and stay with an irreligious person, but we need to show evidence of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit when dealing with others who are "babes" in Christ or don't have any clue to the Christian faith we hold so dearly.

A person may be religious, but not Godly.  The Pharisees and Sadducees were religious but not Godly, and the Lord branded them as "hypocrites."

We should be careful so as not to cut off completely those we consider irreligious; we should be prepared to offer assistance and show concern whenever the Holy Spirit provides the opportunity.

Christians should not restrict themselves to their own groups; they should let their light shine to everyone:

Matthew 5:13-16:

13You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltiness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.
14You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
15Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all in the house.
16Let your light so shine before men that they may see your  moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

Christian principles for our everyday life ...

ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH YOUR LIFE?

What is Salvation?  Where will you spend Eternal Life? Will the current way you worship God lead you to Heaven?

Are you satisfied with the messed up human condition of the world?  Why are there wars, fear, hatred, rebellion, cruelty, fractured families, teenage violence, suicide, greed and poverty?

Are you satisfied with your life?

Do you know the reason for all these problems?

Were you at church this past Sunday?  Do you attend every Sunday?

We cordially invite you to worship at God’s church this Sunday in any one of the many locations in the U.S.A., Ghana or Nigeria.

Come and let us share the blessings that God has shown to us, and the Good News of God’s Provision through the Savior Jesus Christ who died for you and me.

Visit with us and find the answers from God’s Holy Bible.  We’ll be praying and waiting for you.

COME AND SEE HOW MUCH GOD LOVES YOU!
