Our Faith

Testimonies

What is FAITH IN CHRIST? Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1)

Why are we a FAITH-believing church? By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible (Hebrews 11:2)

FAITH is the confident obedience to the WORD of GOD regardless of the circumstances or consequences.

BECAUSE:

Through God’s Grace, the power and assurances provided to all Christians who believe, trust and rely on the completed work of the Lord Jesus Christ, we stand on God’s Word from which our members worldwide have received miraculous results to prayers, divine healing, and been blessed for our firm faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. (John 14:12)

Therefore, until the Lord returns for His Church:

  • we trust GOD spiritually
  • We trust GOD physically
  • We trust GOD materially

We provide the Scriptural references to support our faith in Christ:

We believe and trust God alone for protection from any harm without using any human efforts (Psalm 23:1-6; 27:5; 91:1-16; 121:1-8; Isaiah 25:4).

We believe that God does not permit sickness and disease to correct or make us grow spiritually (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 7:11).  According to GOD’s Word, these come from the devil.

And His fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them. (Matthew 4;24, NKJV)

When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick

We believe and trust God alone for our Divine (physical) healing, which is wrought by the Power of God through the prayer of faith and provided for in the Atonement of Christ.  Our focus is never to depend upon our bodily health, but to seek first the spiritual health of our soul through the grace and mercy of GOD.

It is spiritually beneficial to go to Heaven with a healthy soul than to be consumed with the healing of our bodies.  We seek first the righteousness of the Kingdom of Heaven and obedience to GOD’s Word.

While we do not depend on what we eat or drink to dictate how we live, we believe that a healthy lifestyle is also a necessary part of a Christian while on earth: eating natural fruit, vegetables, watching our diets, cholestrol, salt, exercising, and activities that strengthen the heart.

It is pure common sense that since the body was made by God then He is the only One to be trusted or depended upon for healing. God has been the healer of true believers for all ages (Exodus 15:26b; 2nd Chronicles 16:12-13; Psalm 103:3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 4:23; Acts 10:38; James 5:14‑15).

We believe and trust God alone spiritually to meet wrongs right. We trust God’s to empower us to die to self, and carry the Cross daily in every aspect of our Christian life. We all know that unless we are fully under the control of God’s Holy Spirit, it is impossible to allow others to walk over us, be everybody’s doormat, everybody’s slave and everybody’s servant. (Matthew 5:38-48; 16:24-27; Luke 6:27-36; John 12:25‑26; Romans 6:11; Romans 12:1-2,14,17-20).

We believe and trust God alone to financially supply all our material needs. While we work as part of our living, we do not depend on the wages from our work, but trust to help us to manage our finances. The death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross cover every need, and that is why it is unscriptural to go into debt by borrowing or purchasing any article with the intention to pay on installments. We are not to take thought for the morrow but to look to God for our supplies a day at a time (2nd Corinthians 8:9; Philippians 4:19; Psalm 50:15; Romans 13:8, Matthew 5:7; 6:11,25-34, Luke 3:11; 11:13; Malachi 3:10; Psalm 41:2-3; Proverbs 19:17).

FAITH IN GOD

We all have faith in people and things. But have we tried faith in God? Someone has correctly coined this scriptural phrase on faith:

“Faith is the confident obedience to the Word of God regardless of circumstances or consequences.” – author unknown

The Holy Bible has this to say about faith:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1,3 NKJV

Those who do not have faith cannot see past the physical world around them. They are limited by their temporal circumstances and are blind to what God is doing.

Trust in God, Believe in Him, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Everyone needs salvation. Everyone needs to be saved, and there is only one person who can save us, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the ONLY Way, the Truth and Life. No other person can save us from our sins – Acts 16:31.
